I had actually known Mansze and Ignacio for years before planning their wedding. Mansze and I both worked in corporate retail together. I worked on the merchandising team and Mansze was in production. In those early days we shared many post work cocktails and stories of dating. I can remember when she and Ignacio first started dating and how we both talked about dating guys from the midwest. I was thrilled when they got engaged and even happier that they chose me to help bring their day together for their Carondelet House Wedding.

Carondelet House is a gorgeous brick building that was built in 1926 and naturally has that moody romantic vibe. I fell in love with this venue after attending a wedding here for a dear friend and was thrilled to return as a wedding planner!

There was moody romance downstairs, but up on the roof was all DTLA vibes! I love how these portraits came out from Jackie Potorke.

The main room was already chic and romantic under glowing chandeliers. The bride and groom added hanging market lights for extra coziness and an incredible suspended floral arrangement from Foxglove Los Angeles.

Carondelet House Wedding Reception

The staff were amazing to work with and had the ceremony room flipped to the dinner reception so quickly!. Long tables were set with benches and mis matched vintage chairs. The tables were covered with greenery garlands and fresh fruit with rich fall colors. Lots of texture rich colors on the tables kept things cozy for this fall Carondelet House wedding.

The evening wrapped up with lots of dance moves, and guests enjoying a late night sweet treat with this cake from Vanilla Bake shop. Congratulations Mansze and Ignacio!
